Assistant Professor in Oral Biology
Dr. Atukorallaya received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and her PhD from Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan, under the supervision of Professor Yoshiro Takano. She then completed her post doctoral training at the Mount Saint Vincent University, Nova Scotia with Dr. Tamara Franz-Odendaal where she began to study the molecular aspects of development and evolution of vertebrate craniofacial skeleton. In 2017, she began her position as an assistant professor in the Department of Oral Biology at the University of Manitoba.

Zheng is a MSc candidate. Zheng has completed his undergraduate degree in dental medicine at Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, and a master program in regenerative dentistry at King’s College London, London, England. Currently, Zheng is investigating the early tooth development. Specifically, he studies the tooth number variation in Mexican tetra.
